Recently in Tel Aviv, a woman parked her car in a normal space on the street, only to return to find her car gone, and the space her car had been in transformed into a handicapped spot. Of course, who would believe such an outlandish story? Certainly not the municipal hotline employee she called to complain. But luckily she was vindicated. She got access to a street camera that shows a contractor coming up to the car and literally painting the handicapped spot on the ground around the car! Once she had the video of course, the ticket was dropped and towing fines refunded. But that hasn’t stopped her from taking the story viral.
