These last few weeks have been marked by record breaking cold so it should be no surprise to anyone that a massive storm is on it’s way. So what is a bomb cyclone exactly? In simplest terms, it refers to a storm that includes a massive change in pressure. It is usually seen in the winter and is often accompanied by dramatic drops in temperature. Here in New York they are predicting temperatures as low as -24 degrees Fahrenheit! So stay warm out there!
And what does this mean for parking? Well in the short term, Alternate Side Parking rules have been suspended for Thursday Jan 4th and Friday Jan 5th. So if you are parked in a spot that normally would require you to move, you are safe till next week. A small silver lining in the upcoming storm
