Most Common Parking Violations: Ridgewood (104th Precinct)

  1. Street Cleaning: No parking where parking is not allowed by sign, street marking or traffic control device. 28255 tickets issued
  2. Muni Meter – (38) Failing to show a receipt or tag in the windshield. 18070 tickets issued
  3. Standing or parking a vehicle without showing a current inspection sticker. 10741 tickets issued
  4. Stopping, standing or parking closer than 15 feet of a fire hydrant. Between sunrise and sunset, a passenger vehicle may stand alongside a fire hydrant as long as a driver remains behind the wheel and is ready to move the vehicle if required to do so. 9782 tickets issued
  5. General No Parking: No parking where parking is not allowed by sign, street marking or traffic control device. 8214 tickets issued
  6. Muni Meter – (37) Parking in excess of the allowed time. 7493 tickets issued
  7. General No Standing: Standing or parking where standing is not allowed by sign, street marking or; traffic control device. 7442 tickets issued
  8. Standing or parking a vehicle without showing a current registration sticker. 5853 tickets issued
  9. Bus Stop: Standing or parking where standing is not allowed by sign, street marking or; traffic control device. 4938 tickets issued
  10. Stopping, standing or parking in a crosswalk. Note: Crosswalks are not always identified by painted street markings. 2825 tickets issued
